From the field to the jar, in five steps.

Nothing is stored for long before it is ground. Each step has a named person responsible for it and a log entry for the batch.

  1. 1

    Harvest

Leaves are picked by hand in the morning, before the midday heat.

  2. 2

    Wash and sort

Damaged and yellowed leaves are removed before drying begins.

  3. 3

    Shade dry

Dried on racks under cover, with temperature logged every hour.

  4. 4

    Grind and sieve

Ground in small batches and sieved fine, so the texture stays even.

  5. 5

    Test and pack

Each batch is tested in our partner lab, then packed and sealed.

Rows of moringa trees on flat farmland under early morning light

We buy from the farms we can visit.

Most of our moringa comes from 14 growers within an hour of the unit. We pay before harvest, agree the picking date with each grower, and visit every plot at least twice a season.

What we check, and what we print on the jar.

The label lists only what we can show. If a test is not done for a batch, we say so on the batch page.

Moisture and microbes

Every batch is tested for moisture content and microbial load before packing. Results are kept for three years.

Heavy metals

We test for lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury on each harvest, not once a year.

Traceable batches

The batch number on the jar links to the grower, the harvest date and the drying log.

“We would rather sell less powder than sell powder we have not tested.”
[Founder name], Harit Organics
Stone mortar and pestle holding fine green herbal powder on a wooden table

Started with one drying rack in a family courtyard.

In 2019, [Founder name] began drying moringa leaves from the family plot and selling the powder to neighbours. The orders came by word of mouth, and the courtyard rack soon became a small shed with three racks and a hand grinder.

Today we still grind in small batches. We work with local growers, keep our own drying logs, and turn down any batch that does not pass our tests, even when we need the stock.

The name comes from harit, the Sanskrit word for green. It is a reminder that the work starts in the field, not the factory.

Simple ways to take them every day.

Start with a small amount and see how your body responds. These are common ways people use each powder. They are not medical instructions.

Morning drink

Stir moringa into warm water or fresh juice. Ashwagandha works well in warm milk at night, with a pinch of black pepper for flavour.

Moringa: 1 tsp
Ashwagandha: 1/2 tsp

Everyday cooking

Add turmeric to dals, rice and vegetable stir-fries near the end of cooking. Moringa leaf powder can be stirred into soups and chutneys.

Turmeric: 1/4 tsp per dish

Smoothies

Blend moringa with banana, a little honey and yoghurt. The green flavour is mild when mixed with fruit.

Moringa: 1 tsp per glass

Face packs

Mix turmeric with gram flour and rose water or milk for a simple pack. Test a small patch of skin first, as turmeric can stain.

Questions we get most often.

If your question is not here, write to us using the form in the contact section.

Are the powders pure, with nothing added?

Yes. Each product is a single ingredient. We do not add fillers, colours, flavours or preservatives. The batch test report lists moisture, microbes and heavy metals.

How long does a jar last?

Stored in a cool, dry place with the lid closed, a 100 g jar is best used within 12 months of the packing date printed on the label. Colour and aroma fade slowly after that.

Can I take these with my medicines?

Please check with your doctor first, especially if you take medicines for blood sugar, blood pressure, thyroid or blood thinning, or if you are pregnant or nursing. Do not stop prescribed treatment because of a herbal product.

Do you ship outside Uttar Pradesh?

Yes, we ship across India through standard courier partners. Orders placed before 2 pm on a working day are packed the same day. Delivery times depend on your pin code.

Can I visit the unit or a farm?

Yes, by appointment. Visits are most useful during harvest, usually from October to February for moringa. Write to us and tell us the date you would like to come.

From the drying shed.

Short notes from the unit and the fields: what the weather did, which batch is ready, and what we changed after a test.

  1. 14 Oct 2026

Rain delayed the second moringa harvest

Two plots were picked a week late because the leaves were wet. We held drying until the leaves had dried in the field.

  2. 2 Oct 2026

Ashwagandha roots came in lighter this year

The roots are smaller after the dry spell. We have adjusted the sieve size so the powder stays fine, and we have told wholesale buyers about the change.

  3. 18 Sep 2026

New drying racks with temperature logs

Each rack now has a digital probe. The log is saved with the batch number, so every jar can be traced to its drying conditions.
